Cannonau di Sardegna Berteru Riserva
This wine has depth which shows the incredible quality of the grapes used. Cannonau is the same grape as Grenache. Let it decant to enjoy a complex dark fruit and jam body.
OM Wines writes: Very dark color for this thin-skinned variety, almost opaque; red fruits and wild herbs on the nose and on the palate, very fine ripe tannins. Indigenous yeast fermentation with a ‘pied de cuve,’ three to four weeks of contact with the skins, then after pressing about 10 months in 1,000 liter ‘botti’ before bottling.
